Poker Stars Adds New Tourneys

PokerStars recently added a new SNG option to their site. The new tournaments are designed to cater to players who desire to play in big-field tournaments without having to wait on scheduled tournaments to begin.
Each tournament starts when 180 players have paid the $20+$2 entry fee. The top 18 finishers are paid. First place receives a solid $1,080.
On Friday night, the tournaments appear to be filling and starting at an approximate rate of once every seven minutes. While their popularity will likely come down from this initial high, these SNGs make a nice addition to a poker site with an already stellar tournament reputation.
