New Omaha Strategy Article

, 2005-11-04, by TwoGun

Omaha Poker is rising in popularity. This game is similar to Texas Hold'em, except players are dealt four hole cards. Each player must use two and only two cards from his hand and three cards from the board.

There are two versions of Omaha. The first is Omaha High, where the highest hand wins the entire pot. The second version is Omaha hi-lo, where the highest and lowest hands split the pot. The low hand must contain five unique cards of 8 or less (an ace counts as a low card for the low).

If you are interested in learning more about Omaha hi-lo, check out our Omaha hi-lo strategy article.
