Harrah's To Expand Overseas

Harrah's Entertainment, the owner of many casinos in the United States and the World Series of Poker, plans on expanding its operations overseas. Due to limited growth opportunities in the United States, Harrah's believes its growth lies in building new casinos in Europe and Asia.

Much of these new projects will be through joint ventures. Places that it is already considering building casinos include the Bahamas, Slovenia, and Spain.
