Double Exposure
5-STUD VARIANTS
Submitted by Robin on 2004-08-02
Rules
You are dealt 5 cards, face down, which you look at (and
try to remember). Then everyone passes their entire hand
one person to the left. You then play with that hand,
rolling the cards (i.e. organize your hand how you want,
and show one card at a time with a round of betting between
each card).
The crux is that everyone at the table knows one other
person's entire hand! This game has a lot of subtleties
which is difficult to explain and needs to be played to
see.
Variations:
* Instead of passing one player left, pass one right. This
goes against the flow of betting and makes for interesting
plays.
* Can also also pass two players to the left, or three to
the left, etc.
* Can be played hi/lo with a declare round before the final
card.
