I knew there was a reason I didn't like draw. Probably b/c Lee Jones can come up with really creative coolers and whatnot.

Also, LOL @ me for posting a $18 beat pot. But I thought it was funny. I call this my 'I think I'm Kid Hustlr' post. Only my opponent drew perfect trips when I hit a flush - not quite as big as losing a 60/40.

I get a penny here and there - it's like a flock of doves left and each of them pooped 1c into my account.

What the medications can't do - let Floyd do the rest.

*sigh* Used to be a good site.

I'd say it was good that you were playing limit, you probably would have gone AI otherwise.

BTW I've got a lot of notes on gabor and rtheczar, they are regulars there.

I should really write a pseudo-strategy/my observations for $1-$2 limit draw. Would anyone be interested? Without reads, the only way to make anything is predraw selection and attention to position.

Is their very much depth in strategy involved in low limit draw? Seems like it would be a very mechanical and boring game.

It's very mechanical, it can be quite boring too depending on who your playing.
If you keep good notes, you can make some profitable hero calls or sick laydowns. It's tough to be consistently profitable unless you're careful of your starting hands.

That said though, I've been playing it quite a bit and seem to make more money at that than hold 'em. I think it's because there still seems to be quite a few people taking a shot at it who don't know what they're doing. In hold 'em, not as much anymore.

I do find that once you get to $2/$4, most of the players play pretty optimally and it's hard to beat the rake. Maybe it's just me not being good enough at that level though.
